Father's Log: Star Date 05202010, Supplement A

We have been transferred into our new room on the post-partem side of the L&D floor. Krista is now disconnected from the IV and the monitors. She is on bed rest but can wear normal clothes again and is basically just waiting for things to happen at this point. This side of the hospital is not allowed to check her cervix or connect her to monitors so we have been instructed to let them know if/when the contractions become, "regular, increasingly painful, or her water breaks". Based on past experience, I think we will be informing them of regular, painful contractions around 5-7 pm tonight. Just a guess. That's it for now. I will pass along any updates when they happen.
