1 yr.

Yesterday marked the end of our first year in North Carolina. The last year has gone by very quickly. Since May 6th, 2008 we have experienced the following:

I started work at Allvac
We bought a house
We moved again (Pineville to Monroe)
We had a baby
Krista had surgery
We sold our trailer in Gainesville
The world economy collapsed
I survived multiple layoffs
Krista became pregnant again

I guess you could say we had a full year. Things seem to be slowing down a little now, which is nice. Krista and Emma and I went to Sticky Fingers last night to celebrate our first year. Sticky Fingers is where we ate, along with both dads, our first night here. We ate way too much and Emma devoured a corn muffin (making a nice mess by the way). We then topped it off with some ice cream at Kilwin's chocolate. Altogether, the year has been eventful but we have been exceedingly blessed to have things go smoothly through all of these major events. The Lord is good to us and we are very thankful.
