Snow, part III

The snow has started. We were hit with 2 days of rain first, though. Now the roads are all wet (soon to be frozen), the rivers overflowing, the ground saturated, and the trees drenched. Combine this with 12 hours of sub-freezing temperatures and snow and we should have a nice mess of things by morning. It is expected that trees will come down through-out the night and most of the roads will freeze over. We currently only have about 1/4" of snow but it should pick up as the night goes on. We are also still above freezing for the next hour or two so most of the snow that is falling is melting and running to the roads, exacerbating the problem. I will post some pictures in the morning if we still have power.
